I’m a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer specializing in helping women nourish and fuel to optimize their health and performance.  I work with athletes to improve sports and exercise performance and active people build healthy habits and behaviors regarding their nutrition.  A highlight of my work involves building a healthy relationship with food and improving body image.  If we give our bodies what it needs, then it will give us what we want.
Making changes to improve your health, performance and lifestyle can be challenging,
physically, mentally and emotionally. My approach to client care involves education and counseling to help you make these changes successfully.  I consider my client’s goals while counseling them to maintain a healthy mental and emotional attitude in the process.
I obtained my Master’s in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University, where I conducted research on nutrition knowledge and sports nutrition education interventions on Division I female athletes.  As for training,I am a Certified Functional Strength Coach, Functional Training Specialist, Onnit Academy Kettlebell Specialist, and Kettlebell Athletics certified.
I have worked with Division I college athletes at St. Francis College and Long Island University, helping student-athletes build eating habits and meal plans to support their athletic and academic career.  In addition, I implement sports nutrition plans for USTA Pros, endurance cyclists, marathon athletes, martial artists, and soccer players.  I am currently the Sports Nutritionist for the Hofstra University Dance Team.
